ASUU Professor Biudon Ogunimi said that the ongoing strike will end when the federal government accepts the Union’s minimalist proposal.

ASUU reports that the strike will begin on November 4, 2018 at the National Leadership Conference at the Acura University of Technology in Ondo, in southwestern Nigeria. The professors protested against the lack of funds at the Nigerian University, the non-implementation of the Convention and other issues.
Oguniemi, referred to by the Daily Trust, stressed that the unions stopped the strike only after a recent meeting with the federal government.
The strike will end when the government moves to the minimum bid and drastically reduces the bid and that include the minimum wage increase.
